Let's Help the Boy Ivan

  Tkachenko Ivan Sergeevich, born 01.11.2009, was born severely premature at 980 g. Vanya has cerebral palsy, LSA fourth degree, spastic tetraparesis, convulsive syndrome, spastic hip dislocations, delayed mental development, and neurogenic flexion phenomena; he cannot sit on his own, only with support. The boy is cared for by his grandmother-guardian, Tkachenko Natalya Pavlovna. Vanya's mother died of cancer and his father is imprisoned, so the grandmother took on all the care and wants her grandson to live conveniently and comfortably, so that he can feel like ordinary children. 

  Vanya attends the CCRD&R (Centre for Correctional and Developmental Education and Rehabilitation) and works with a private speech therapist and a physical therapy instructor. He understands everything, he is bright, but in order to feed him or to work with him, he has to be seated in an ordinary chair and propped up with pillows. The boy is already over 15 years old and the grandmother carries him in her arms if he needs to move around the room or in the bathroom. 
  Vanya is in great need of a specialized wheelchair for children with cerebral palsy. Thanks to this wheelchair, the boy will be able to keep his back in the correct position, move around the apartment, do exercises, and eat. Natalya Pavlovna very much wants to help her grandson, but unfortunately does not have the ability to purchase a specialized wheelchair on her own due to its high cost. 
 The cost of a specialized wheelchair for children with cerebral palsy is 11,570 rubles.
